For the Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet at the Wigwam Ballroom, expect a most satisfying selection of dishes and sides, perfect for this great day of giving thanks to moms everywhere. To start your brunch with something light, try the spinach and frisee salad with grapefruit, feta cheese and luscious champagne vinaigrette. There’s also the more classic Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, focaccia croutons and tasty parmesan cheese. For a taste of the sea, there’s the peel & eat shrimp with crab claws, flavored with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon squeeze. There are also a wide assortment of breads, muffins and breakfast pastries available for those who like bread with their meals.
Love omelets? Approach the made to order omelet station and choose from a variety of tasty ingredients from spinach, ham, bacon and sausage to cheese and mushrooms. Concoct your very own omelet with your favorite ingredients and get just the right mix for the most perfect meal. There’s also a separate carving station for herb crusted prime rib.
A separate Mother’s Day Brunch is also happening at the inimitable Litchfield’s, which is happening at May 13, 2018 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Only $58 per person. Litchfield’s has its own unique menu for Mother’s Day starting with croissant, danish, scone and muffin. For appetizers, you can choose from berries, arugula, ceviche and charcuterie made with prosciutto, coppa, blue, honeycomb and bread.
The main entrees are what it’s all about this Mother’s Day at Litchfield’s: smoked salmon cobb with boiled egg, radish, tomato and bacon, crab benedict with lump crab, poached egg, English muffin and béarnaise. There’s also the huevos rancheros made with pulled pork, fried egg, black bean and red rice.
