A Historic Resort in the Heartof Arizona
The Wigwam offers over a century's worth of experience in providing luxury and comfort to travelers from around the world. Started as a small lodge during the rise of cotton ranching in the early 1900s, The Wigwam first opened its doors as a resort in 1929.
The original lodge still adorns our property with its heritage and southwestern charm, making us one of the most beloved resorts in Phoenix, AZ.
A Century of Hospitality
After steady expansions for over 100 years, the resort now features 331 elegant rooms and suites, three championship golf courses (including the Gold & Blue Courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.), nine tennis courts, three swimming pools (one with a 25-feet dual water slide), a fitness center, award-winning restaurants, and 100,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event spaces.
Then and Now
