Springtime Activities at The Wigwam

It’s springtime! Nothing short of our favorite time of year, the next few months bring an abundance of out-of-towners enjoying the perfect weather, the perfect weather and even more of the perfect weather. It’s practically illegal to stay inside during springtime in Arizona. So, in order to keep our guests and locals entertained, we have a ton of great activities planned now through May. From Chicago-style eats to Easter treats, check out all of the happenings at The Wigwam!

The Flavors of February

There is no better time to be outside in Arizona than right now. Take advantage by joining The Wigwam at the Flavors of the West celebration in downtown Litchfield Park Sunday, February 23.

From noon to 6 p.m., stroll through downtown and sample delicious food from more than 25 West Valley restaurants and chefs: from Whiskey Rose to Menime’s Wacky Waffle Wagon, you’re sure to find an option that satisfies. Wash it down with custom cocktails, craft beer and wine from the bars scattered throughout.

In addition to expanding your culinary horizons, there will be plenty of activities to keep both kids and parents alike entertained all afternoon. Enjoy performances by The Wiley One, Pearl Ridge, Carly Paige and more on the main stage, or saunter over to the Cooking Demo Stage to watch top chefs (including our very own Richard Hinojosa) show off their skills. A mechanical bull, a corn hole gaming area and face painting for the kids are all on hand to pass the time between samplings.

For those who want the ultimate experience, The Wigwam will be hosting its own VIP area, complete with a top-shelf bar, private bathrooms, a corn hole practice area, and a show by Arizona Dueling Pianos. There will be catered food provided by The Wigwam, and each VIP ticket holder will receive 20 drink tickets for use at either the VIP bar or the craft beer sampling area. You will also get a bag full of goodies from various sponsors and restaurants to take home with you.

It will be a great day of fun, music and food so we encourage everyone to come out and fully experience all that the West Valley culinary scene has to offer!

  • General admission tickets are $45
  • Kids 12 and under are $20
  • VIP tickets are $100

Proceeds from the event benefit the new Avondale campus of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.¬†For more information about the event, and to purchase tickets, click¬†here.
