2011 will be the year of the Cubbies
Annual trips to spring training begin
"After moving to Phoenix from Western New York, My husband and I quickly found this beautiful resort and have been revisiting time and time again. The first time I became acquaited with The Wigwam was when my choir from Litchfield Elementary School was asked to sing at the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in December of 2008, and we have been asked to perform at every tree lighting since. I remember how bright-eyed my students and I were when we were up on the stage and performing in front of the beautiful, large, and live Christmas tree. Having this resort right across the street from my workplace is a treat like none other. My husband and I thought it would be a wonderful way to celebrate our first anniversary by staying a night at the Wigwam together. After a delectable dinner at what used to be "Red's Steakhouse," we enjoyed a quiet evening conversing with the bartender at the old "Copper Bar" only to find out she was related to one of my students. Even though we had just met her, it felt like we knew her our entire life from how personable and comforting she was to talk to. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning at the "Arizona Kitchen," where we were able to watch the chef prepare our food right in front of us. What a treat! Since then, we had recently visited The Wigwam after the revitalization project. Although we thought the resort was beautiful before, we love the new layout of the entrance with the beautifully lush and lanscaped gardens. We had dinner at "Litchfield's" and were greatly impressed by the originality of the dishes and how nearly every ingredient was organically/locally grown. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast buffet at "Red Allen's" after a long walk around the golf course and through the resort's gorgeous rose-lined pathways. This resort is truly one-of-a-kind with its Southwestern flair and modern decor, and definitely a place that I would recommend to anyone."
"What's better than hanging by the Wigwam pool on a beautiful Saturday?"
"Four of us obtained discount coupons to eat at Litchfield's, the new restaurant at the Wigwam Arizona resort. We decided not to use them after we overheard a couple talking about bad service and food. However, at a Spring baseball game at the new Goodyear Ballpark free cocktail coupons were being handed out. So we decided to give it a shot. We ate at your restaurant the night of March 22, 2011. We had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the the food was terrific. We liked the new atmosphere with the cooking being done right in the dining area. It had just the right amount of noise level with people talking and enjoying their meals. Your advertising is working. If we had not been given a second chance to try the restaurant, we would have missed a terrifc meal. We will be back."
"Encountered many athletes and there was so much to do on the resort that there was very little need to venture off. Shopping and baseball parks within easy access of the resort."
"12 KC area guys who had spent the last 15 yrs exploring S Texas for a week of golf were very fortunate to have been introduced to Wigwam locale and employees….Great experience, best deal in US, exemplary service, and 3 golf courses to challenge your game in every way! "
"Why sleep ? When you can enjoy this grand and majestic view on a midnight walk a bout."

"As someone who has visited the Wigwam a number of times, for both business and pleasure, I can't recommend them enough! From a business perspective, the hotel is ideally suited for meetings – meeting rooms are spacious, food & beverage is always well presented and far superior to standard conference food, and I can't go on enough about the hotel staff. Compared to the dozens of other hotels I work with each year, the Wigwam staff actually care! Many of them have worked at the resort for numerous years, and are invested in the success of the property. This comes across in all interactions with the staff – when you need something, they are there, and the answer is nearly always yes!
I also spent a long weekend at the resort with a few girlfriends, and what a great experience. We were able to relax and spend time chatting at the various restaurants, bars and pools – as well as see a little bit of Arizona. During our weekend we went to the Desert Botanical Garden, which was only about a half hour drive – and well worth it! The resort grounds are also gorgeous, and really nice for an early morning walk. Visit the Wigwam – you won't regret it!”
"I came to the Wigwam searching for evidence of Yellowstone Chip Samuell, a 1930s and 40s Wigwam wrangler, and found him all over the halls and walls. How can a search get better than that. Here's a close up from one of those photos. Chip loved people and animals!"
