Ring in the New Year at The Wigwam

Looking for the perfect place to start off 2014? Enjoy a night of dining, live music and dancing at The Wigwam’s New Year’s Eve celebrations!

Both Litchfield’s and Red’s Bar and Grill have created special New Year’s Eve menus (details below). After dinner, join us in The Wigwam Ballroom starting at 8:30 and listen to the Thaddeus Rose Band ring in the New Year. Light snacks and a champagne toast will be provided. Admission to the ballroom is included with dinner, and tickets are also available at the door for $20 per person or $30 per couple.

After a night of dancing, refuel with Litchfield’s New Year’s Brunch and Belvedere Bloody Mary Bar. Recount your night’s adventures over made-to-order omelets, waffles and a chocolate fountain. Reservations are recommended – prices are $19.95 for brunch, $7 for the Bloody Mary Bar (tax and gratuity not included).

This year, make The Wigwam part of your holiday traditions! We have fantastic, family-friendly events every weekend starting on November 30th through Christmas.

Ice skatingThe festivities kick off on Saturday, November 30th with our annual tree lighting ceremony. Join us for holiday music, an appearance by Santa, and ice skating. Yes, ice skating! The West Valley’s only outdoor seasonal ice skating rink will be set up on the lawn of Litchfield’s from November 28th – January 4th for the whole family to enjoy. In between your trips to the rink, check out the following activities and make this a holiday season to remember:

Beginning on November 30th: Holiday Card and Ornament Fundraiser. Cards and ornaments will be on sale in The Wigwam’s lobby. Proceeds from sales benefit the West Valley Arts Council Jr. Scholarship Program and area arts students.

December 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd: Holiday Nights in Lights. Sponsored by our friends at Hilgers Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, this event includes train rides, holiday caroling, wish list writing, and photos with Santa. The ice rink will also be open, but hours vary, so be sure to check out our website in order to maximize your fun! 5-7 pm.

December 7th, 14th, and 20th: Breakfast with Santa. Bring your children to a delicious breakfast at Litchfield’s, visit with Santa, and enjoy classic holiday tunes. December 22nd: Elf on the Shelf Holiday Tea. Litchfield’s will be getting a special visit from Santa’s Elf! Along with delicious goodies and fun activities including letter-writing to Santa, kids will be treated to a reading of The Elf’s Story. 2-4 pm. December 25th: Christmas Day Dinner at Litchfield’s. A great way to relax and enjoy your Christmas Day! Enjoy a three-course meal including an appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $45 per person. Children’s menu options are also available. 3-7 pm. Please call 623-856-1013 for reservations.

Starting in October, we’re bringing back our popular monthly Wine and Dinner series. Each session involves a unique four-course menu created by our Executive Chef. Each course is paired with a wine from the evening’s featured winery. A representative of the winery will be at each event to explain the pairings, answer questions, and mingle with the guests.

Mark your calendars for November 17th as The Wigwam is starting a monthly Cooking Class Series! The Wigwam Culinary Team will be on hand to demonstrate how to make tasty tapas and delicious drinks, with recipes for you to take home so you can try them out yourself.

Summer Activities at The Wigwam

We kicked off the summer with West Valley Family Nights powered by Radio Disney on Saturday, May 18th! On the front lawn, families enjoy themed activities, entertainment and special appearances from Disney Channel TV stars. West Valley Family Nights continue every third Saturday of the month through August.

Memorial Day weekend, you can expect special holiday festivities with our Salute the Troops Concert on Sunday, May 26th! Taking place right on our front lawn from 5:30p – 9p, you will hear live music by Mary Hoffman Band, enjoy homestyle barbecue eats and fun family activities.

Memorial Day weekend also marks the beginning of our ongoing daily summer activities happening around the resort all the way through Labor Day weekend. Summer at The Wigwam delivers fun and entertainment for all of you staycationers and out-of-town visitors!

Visit the 3rd Annual Governor’s Egg Roll & Easter Festival!

This Easter, bring the entire family to partake in all of the fun and activities our 3rd Annual Governor’s Egg Roll & Easter Festival has to offer! The events will take place Saturday, March 30th from 9am to 12pm celebrating Easter with countless activities, live entertainment, and an official “egg roll” led by Gov. Jan Brewer. Arriving via helicopter, the Easter Bunny will also make a special appearance for the festivities. Parents can expect plenty of entertainment such as face painting, Easter crafts, encounters with Wildlife World Zoo animals, and much more!

Want to enjoy breakfast with a special Easter Bunny photo? Make reservations for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Friends at Litchfield’s from 8 to 10:30 am on Saturday. The menu includes a breakfast buffet with a pancake bar and traditional morning sides plus each child will get a special one-on-one photo with the Easter Bunny. Cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 3 to 12.
