Do You Bocce? Come enjoy a drink during happy hour, engage in some friendly competition and test your skills on our two brand new, custom built regulation masonry Bocce Courts! Popular throughout the U.S. among Italian-Americans Bocce dates all the way back to the time of the Egyptians and the Romans who picked it up from them. It is a sport that all ages can play and enjoy year-round in the perfect Arizona climate.

Arizona’s climate is ideal for tennis. Dry, sunny days and cool evenings make enjoying tennis at our illuminated tennis facility one of our favorite outdoor activities. Our resort offers guests and tennis club member’s access to nine tennis courts including a stadium court.

Call Carlos, our Director of Tennis at 623.535.4926  or Brian at 623.856.1071 to arrange your court time or inquire about private lessons or email Carlos direct at

For some, the pool is that lovely spot where you soak up the sun, sip a margarita and take the occasional refreshing dip with someone you love. For others, it’s a Marco Polo-crazed fun fest. The beauty of having three pools and a Jacuzzi™ at The Wigwam is that both camps are happy-and thoughtfully separated. From the new, 25-foot tower with two twisting water slides to the romantic, tucked-away Oasis Pool, there is a refreshing place just right for everyone.  The height requirement for the water slide is 48″ or taller.

OASIS POOL – we are pleased to have completed some enhancements to our already relaxing and award winning Oasis Pool area.  We’ve added 2 cabanas, new furnishings & umbrellas and new counter tops plus a big screen TV at the bar area.  Cabanas may be reserved through the Concierge for $130 per day or $160 per day for holidays. Every Friday through Sunday through Labor Day Weekend, The Oasis Pool is designated for Adults Only.  On those days, there will be food and beverage service from 11am – 5pm offering beer, wine, specialty cocktails and lite snacks, wraps, salads and chips & salsa.

The White Tank Mountain Regional Park provides hiking, biking and horseback riding enthusiasts sprawling desert and mountain landscape. With a network of hiking trails ranging in difficulty totaling 26 miles, hiking the White Tank Mountains can be a relaxing or an invigorating experience.

Each year, two or three bowl games take place in the Phoenix metro area including the National Championship Game in January 2016.  If you’re traveling to the Grand Canyon State, why not make the most out of your trip and make your stay in the desert a memorable one for you and your friends and family? The Wigwam is the closest resort to all of your football action at the University of Phoenix Football Stadium and we offer the most to traveling fans. Our staff is here to help you so that you not only enjoy your stay at Arizona’s most renowned and historic resort, but you also experience the entire state at the highest level.
