Litchfield Park: Arizona Hotels With History

The large Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park is the original GoodYear Tire & Rubber Company lavish executive retreat. During the 1920s, GoodYear hosted their important travelers and business associates at the GoodYear manicured park-like setting that was carved into a desirable section of their rubber-strengthening Arizona cotton fields. The City of Litchfield Park is named for the GoodYear executive who purchased the land.

Today, the Litchfield Park, Arizona hotels are nestled into a community of 5,000 residents. There is a shopping district and a nice variety of restraints; however, the main attraction is our historic Wigwam Resort. For over 80-years, the desirable Wigwam Resort has been caring for our park-like grounds and expanding our services to include the latest traveler conveniences, vacation attractions and in-room fineries.
