Historically, the areas to the west of Phoenix are the places that families choose for their special getaway trips and resort stays. One of the oldest family resorts in Arizona is located in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Over 80 years ago, GoodYear Tire Company started our Wigwam Resort.
When the GoodYear Tire & Rubber Company purchased their thousands of acres in the Litchfield Park area for their cotton fields, nobody suspected that it would grow into one of the best Arizona family resorts. Originally, a small lavish resort was established during the 1920s for the GoodYear executives and their families to enjoy. Today, our historic Wigwam Resort reflects decades of detailing, expansion projects and improvements.
The Wigwam Resort in Litchfield is about 20-minutes away from all of the downtown Phoenix attractions; however, the roads work both ways. The Wigwam is well-known for their dining options, their Sunday morning Farmer’s Market and their ability to host the business meetings, weddings and community gatherings that need accommodations for up to 1,000 guests.
